We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Cascade has officially been named a finalist for Specialist Care Provider of the Year, Small or Medium Group, at the prestigious National Care Awards 2026!

This national recognition is a huge milestone for our entire organisation. It highlights the dedication of our compassionate staff teams, the strength of our clinical frameworks, and our unwavering commitment to delivering rights based, person centred care across all of our residential settings and educational provisions.

Why This Recognition Matters

Being shortlisted for a National Care Award reflects the extraordinary progress made by the young people and adults we support every single day.

Over the past year, our services have consistently set benchmarks for excellence across the independent sector:

  • Regulatory Excellence in 2026: Banks House children's home holds an incredible consecutive run of Outstanding ratings from Ofsted, complimented by an Outstanding Ofsted rating at Banks House School and Good ratings at Felix House and Felix House School. In our adult provisions, Hurst House achieved an Outstanding rating across the board from the Care Quality Commission, while Bonetti, Peters and Charlton all secured a top tier Excellent ratings under the PAMMS framework.

  • Minimising Restrictive Practices: By viewing complex behaviour as a vital form of communication, our teams have achieved a sustained, dramatic reduction in physical interventions across our homes, helping individuals build true stability and independence.

  • Pioneering Capable Environments: In partnership with Supporting Positively and Norfolk County Council, our baseline evaluation under the Capable Environments framework saw Cascade Care achieve a perfect score across eleven key operational domains, including communication, health, and meaningful activity.

  • True Co Production: From bespoke Spectrum Star support plans to involving our service users directly in interviewing new job applicants, our residents remain at the absolute heart of everything we do.

The winners will be announced at the black tie National Care Awards ceremony on 6 November 2026 at the Park Plaza London Westminster Bridge.
